Fit India Movement


“To keep the body in good health is a duty, otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear". With an aim to promote healthy living the school organised a plethora of activities in compliance with the CBSE ‘Fit India School Week’.

Day 1:PT

Physical Activity is like a medicine which encourages psychomotor learning in a play or movement exploration setting to promote health.

Day 2 Teachers vs Students Cricket Match


To develop a spirit of competition the school organized a cricket match between school staff and students.

Day 3 Yoga

Students demonstrated various asanas followed by Omkar chanting. Warm up exercises were taken and all the students performed sitting and standing asanas, importance of these were explained simultaneously.

Day 4 Self Defence- Karate

Self-defence techniques were taught to the students to help prepare the children from unexpected situations and improves their mental and physical health. The training programme was full of learning, fun and excitement.
